Redcat Racing Everest 10 Revisited!

Welcome back!  A while back I had written this post: Redcat Racing Everest 10.  That was a fresh look at an open review of the Everest 10 which I had just purchased.  I ended up also getting one for my son, and this weekend we spent some time wrenching on it, and also getting the new body put on.  This weekend was the first real testing and driving that we have done on the Everest 10 and RS10XT and I wanted to let you all know how it went!

A quick teaser of what it currently looks like:

First things first; I originally purchased this Jeep Wrangler body for my RS10XT.  I drive a Jeep Wrangler daily so I really wanted this.  When it finally arrived my son decided that he also wanted a Jeep Wrangler body....and he won.

Other than the body on the Everest our two crawlers are totally stock at this point, right down to the tires.

New Hampshire faced some brutal cold this weekend, so to the basement crawler course we went!  "Course" is a bit of an over statement, as all that it really is is a bunch of boxes etc... that we move around to crawl on!

Right off the bat I must say that the Everest seems to crawl better out of the box.  This was a bit of a surprise to me as the RS10XT is a more expensive crawler, with 4 wheel steer and dual motors.

The courses changed as we went, and of course some sections were easier on the RS10XT but overall I would have to give the nod to the Everest in stock form!
